Introduction to Clinical Psychologist

In the life time, it is common to encounter emotional difficulties. When facing trailing sorrows and agony or unbearable fears and worries, seek out assistance from clinical psychologists would be an effective action to take according to the modern medicine.

Professions who work in a clinical and psychotherapeutic environment are called clinical psychologists. Moreover, they have acquired master degrees of clinical psychology and practice in hospitals, homes, and schools.

Since October 31st, 2002, the Psychologists Act was passed in Taiwan. Therefore, all clinical psychologists must undergo national exam, and obtain certification before becoming a clinical psychologist.

Clinical psychologists are those who have gone through rigorous training and attained abounding clinical experience. Their goals are to assist those who have psychological difficulties and to alleviate the burden of those who are suffering.
By using psychological principles and methods to understand and change the client, or those who want to growth, especially those who are psychologically unstable.

Through psychotherapies, clinical psychologists will collaborate with you to improve emotional stability or modify thoughts and behaviours. They will effectively reduce psychological difficulties, improve psychological health, and enhance adaptability.

Psychotherapies are not limited to people with psychopathology. When you experience difficulties or just want to have more self-knowledge, you can seek clinical psychologists to explore with you and set your goal.
